PIE Foster Jump app for iPhone and iPad

Take on the role of a brave child in the Foster Care System. Jump on your skateboard and prepare to leap over life’s obstacles. The child must confront the ghosts that haunt him and absorb the lessons that they can provide. You the player must escort him through this perilous journey. The controls are simple, but the lessons are profound. The lesson points or “souls” obtained on the journey can be used in exchange for trophies to display your achievement. Skate on, my friend.

Foster Jump was designed students from Cincinnati Public School’s School for Creative and Performing Arts. Student staff of Northern Kentucky University’s Center for Applied Informatics developed the game. The app was facilitated by the Partnership for Innovation in Education (PIE) for an innovative program applying Science and Math concepts. Purchasing this app can help fund future projects.
